I.T. Support Assistant (First Line Technical Support) – Full time – Wareham

We currently have a permanent requirement for a full time I.T. Support Assistant (First Line Technical Support). The role will be based in Wareham but travel to the firm’s other offices will also be required to meet the needs of the business, therefore candidates must have their own vehicle.

Responsibilities will include taking initial calls from users, troubleshooting and solving hardware and software I.T. issues both on the phone and face to face, as well as liaising with third party providers. Whilst supervision is close at hand, the desired candidate will already have the skills and competencies to undertake this role with minimal guidance on a day to day basis. Due to the highly regulated profession in which we work, confidentiality, diplomacy and professionalism are of paramount importance.

Receptionist – Part Time – Dorchester

We are seeking a Part Time Receptionist for our Dorchester office to work two days per week on a Thursday and Friday. Candidates should have previous Front of House experience that has been gained within a professional services environment, ideally in a law firm or similar setting. The role will involve working within a busy reception team, providing a high standard of service to clients and colleagues, and undertaking a variety of reception duties. Secretary to Partner – Full time – Dorchester

We have a new opportunity for a Secretary to Partner within the Commercial Department at our Dorchester office. Candidates must have strong secretarial and/or administrative skills including a fast and accurate typing speed and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Office Manager – Full time – Dorchester

We have an exciting opportunity in our Dorchester office for a full time Office Manager. The ideal candidate will have management/supervisory experience, be very ‘hands on’ and come from a legal background, preferably having worked previously as a Legal Secretary or similar, although this is not essential. The role will involve, amongst other responsibilities, establishing and driving forward initiatives, delivering results with minimal supervision, troubleshooting, as well as line managing the Dorchester based Support Staff to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Private Client Paralegal/Fee Earner – Full time – Dorchester

We currently have a full time requirement for a Private Client Paralegal/Fee Earner to work at our Dorchester office. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a qualified, part qualified or non-qualified skilled fee earner, or a Paralegal who is highly competent and who has been working towards becoming a fee earner. The Firm will consider support towards qualification.

This role would suit either a part qualified or non-qualified individual with good working knowledge of a broad range of Private Client work. The successful candidate will have either managed their own caseload as a stand-alone fee earner or will have some experience of fee earning in a Paralegal capacity whilst supporting a fee earner in managing their case load. We are looking for a candidate who will be at a level whereby they are able to work largely independently without constant close supervision and with a fee target.

Legal Secretary (Land) – Full Time – Parkstone

We are seeking a full time Legal Secretary to support the Partner and Lawyers based within the Residential Land Department at our Parkstone office. Candidates should possess previous legal secretarial experience within land law, and will ideally have good knowledge of residential conveyancing process and procedure. Microsoft Office skills are essential along with an audio typing speed of over 60wpm. Digital dictation and case management experience advantageous.
