At Christmas it’s Good to be Green
Christmas is coming!', and whilst that has probably sent a small shiver up a few spines it has had the opposite effect on Peter Inch owner of Trees for Rent and client of Humphries Kirk solicitors. Trees for Rent offer a unique service in Dorset supplying specially grown re-usable Christmas trees proving that it is possible to be good and green at Christmas.
The Trees which are grown from seeds and raised in pots are delivered to your door and remain healthy and survive the Christmas period before being collected and taken back to the Christmas Tree Farm to be tended and re-homed. This is in contrast to other similar services where the trees are grown in the ground, dug up, have their roots cut back and are then transplanted into pots and whose survival post Christmas is far less certain.
Peter said, “With our unique service people can elect to have the same tree every year so it creates a lasting Christmas tradition and is something quite special. Families and businesses really look forward to seeing ‘their’ tree back in their homes and businesses”.
Darrell Stuart Smith, Senior Commercial Partner at Humphries Kirk said, “Whilst we have been helping Peter understand and protect the valuable intellectual property inherent in their branding and their business it has been particularly satisfying to see such a unique Dorset service expanding outside the county.
In its third year of business Trees for Rent is increasing in popularity and is expanding into London. The service is growing in reputation with local businesses who have found that the “Good and Green” theme offers a unique PR opportunity at Christmas time and fits in nicely with their own efforts to reduce their carbon footprint at what can a be a rather excessive time of year.
