HK Step in to Support Party in the Park 2011

party in the parkSummer, sunny long afternoons and enjoying our park was the order of the day when some of the sponsors of Party in the Park got together to toast the new park after a long and drawn out waiting game. For much of this year Ashley Cross residents have been deprived of their park due to the lengthy time taken to restore this much loved recreation area but finally the park has been redeemed to its former glory and it is business as usual for JJ PR the organisers of Party in the Park

Daily Echo backed Party in the Park is taking place at the end of the summer on Sunday 4th September.  With prominent local companies supporting the event, the day is set to be a great day out as always for families and friends.  Jane Jones organiser said:  “We could not possibly pull the event off without support from the likes of Humphries Kirk, Frost & Co and Realty.  To be able to stage something free of this magnitude means we are so dependent on the generosity of these companies.”

The event offers something for everyone, high on the list is children’s entertainment which will in turn give mums and dads a bit of relaxation time to be able to enjoy some of the great bands on offer.  Local restaurants will also get the chance to show off their talents with an interesting array of food from hog roasts to shell fish from the barbeque.  As the rest of the day’s itinerary is prepared there will be much more news about what is happening on the day and check out www.partyintheparks.co.uk or call Jane and team on 01202 770160.
