Humphries Kirk Clients Strike Gold

the hub The Hub were successful winners of the 'Design for Society' category with their "Be a Star" breast feeding campaign for Central Lancashire PCT.

The social marketing campaign successfully leveraged a wide range of innovative tactics to increase breast feeding amongst young mothers in deprived areas.

Humphries Kirk were very proud to be present at the awards and Darrell Stuart-Smith who advised the team at the Hub during the campaign said, "It has been very exciting to see the creative process in action and to have had some input into this campaign. Whilst I know my work is mostly on the fringes I am, however, pleased to know that the work I do takes some of the pressure off the creative team so that they are not worrying about things like whether or not their design work is protected.  This leaves them able to focus on creating a winning campaign!"

Steven Johnson from the Hub said, "Darrell understands the design industry as well as the legal world and it was reassuring to have him involved in the intellectual property aspects of this campaign. He  has helped us put proper procedures and documents to protect our interests and has also been instrumental in advising us on the licensing arrangements with other PCTs”

The "Be a Star" campaign proved so successful for Central Lancashire PCT that other PCTs have implemented the campaign. Humphries Kirk were happy to ensure proper arrangements were in place allowing The Hub to benefit from the subsequent licensing opportunities.
