Care is our Concern

‘Care is our Concern’ is a service for the elderly, incapacitated or housebound. It is a Management Service, designed to relieve you of today's ever-increasing burden of form filling and formality and to help you in many other ways.

We have a suitably trained team to cope with all your problems, however large or small, however urgent. We will discuss with you what you would like us to do.

If, and when you wish, we can take over the administration of your financial affairs leaving you free from worry. You can keep as much control as you wish over your affairs. We will do as much or as little as you want. Some of the things we can do include:

  • Check that you are receiving all the State benefits, pensions and allowances to which you are entitled
  • Manage your Bank or Building Society accounts and arrange payment of your bills
  • Find the right advice about your investments
  • Complete your Income Tax Returns
  • Advise you on tax saving opportunities
  • Liaise with your Accountant or Broker, if you have one
  • Arrange appropriate tradesmen to maintain your home
  • Give you an annual financial 'check up'
  • Advise you about a Lasting Power of Attorney and prepare it for you
  • Advise you about your Will and prepare or update it for you
  • Make contact with the organisations that can provide other forms of help, such as shopping or home care and make contact with the Community Care Manager (SocialWorker), if appropriate
  • We try to use plain English in letters and documents and on request we can use large print.
  • Help you should you need to move out of your home - from finding an appropriate place to move into, to making sure your pets are looked after.

If you would like more information then download the 'Care is our Concern' brochure or contact us on 0845 8323 161 or by email at care@hklaw.eu
