The Dorchester Literary Festival (23rd – 25th October 2015) is an exciting new cultural event for a town rich in literary associations. Dorchester has inspired many of Britain’s best loved writers, including Thomas Hardy, T E Lawrence, William Barnes, Ian McEwan and Tracy Chevalier. This year’s programme of events highlights the latest books by today’s most original authors and warmly welcomes book-lovers to this beautiful setting. It’s a brand new festival.
To launch the festival, organisers are hosting a cocktail party at Dukes’ new gallery on Thursday 18th June. Humphries Kirk are sponsoring this prestigious event, to be attended by a number of the writers and media.
