Celebrating its 20th year, the Purbeck Film Festival is the longest running rural film festival in the UK, supported by over 4000 people annually.
As well as screening at the Rex Cinema and arts centres, they turn village halls, pubs, hotels, shops, tourism venues, homes and castles into quirky cinemas across the Purbeck region, Poole, and Bournemouth.
All the film events offer more than just a visit to the cinema; a unique cinematic experience with introductions, special guests, film notes for every title, a great atmosphere, and strong community spirit. Programmes available from Rex Cinema, Tourist Information Centres, libraries, shops, and local venues from July 2016.
