Humphries Kirk to offer 40 percent reduction on standard Wills during promotional ‘Will Week’

| Published on September 14, 2018

Leading Dorset and Somerset law firm, Humphries Kirk, is offering 40 percent off the basic cost of standard Wills during its own ‘Will Week.’

The firm’s ‘Will Week’ takes place from Monday September 17 to Friday September 21, aiming to highlight the importance of having a Will. Customers will also be given the chance to ask questions about the advantages of having a Lasting Power of Attorney in place.

The offer is a 40 percent reduction on the cost of making a basic Will, which equates to an approximate cost after discount of £117 + VAT for a single Will or £177 + VAT for a mirror Will. VAT will be added at 20 percent.

To take advantage of this offer, members of the public should contact their local office during ‘Will Week’ to arrange an appointment. Appointments must be booked during the promotional week, although the appointment can take place after the law firm’s ‘Will Week’.

Adam Scott, private client partner at Humphries Kirk, commented: “We receive a great reaction each year from our ‘Will Week’ so we are running this special promotion again to help raise awareness of the importance of having a Will and one that is up to date.

“All too often, people assume that when they die their assets will be passed automatically to their spouse, partner or children – but this is not guaranteed. If there is no Will in place, the law will dictate who gets what and how much. Having a Will in place is the only way to guarantee your wishes are respected after you have passed away.”

Humphries Kirk can also offer advice on how to appoint legal guardians, state your funeral wishes, and create legacies to individuals or charitable organisations. Any tax or trust advice will be charged separately.

Humphries Kirk has offices in Bournemouth, Parkstone, Poole, Swanage, Wareham, Dorchester, and Crewkerne as well as London and has an international network of lawyers. For more information visit www.hklaw.eu
