| Published on November 13, 2018

The private client department at Humphries Kirk in Crewkerne completed a Memory Walk in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK on the last Sunday in October.

A team of nine from Humphries Kirk Crewkerne took part in the walk, with additional family members and dogs included. The Memory Walk began at the Rangers’ Station car park at Ham Hill, covering a circular walk around Ham Hill and ending at the Prince of Wales pub. The Humphries Kirk team covered a total of 3.5 miles and have raised a total of £130 for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Commenting on the Memory Walk, Anne Kendall, secretary at Humphries Kirk in Crewkerne, commented: “We’re so pleased to have completed the Memory Walk and are proud to have pushed on despite freezing temperatures and gale force winds. We are definitely going to take part again next year because we really enjoyed it and all felt we had achieved something for a good cause.

“Alzheimer’s disease affects so many lives and we wanted to do something to help fund research projects across the country. Although we don’t have a JustGiving page set up for our Memory Walk, we are accepting donations at our Crewkerne office reception, or those interested can donate directly to Alzheimer’s Research UK via their website.”

Alzheimer’s Research UK funds pioneering research to make a real difference to people’s lives, both now and in the future. The charity aims to create a world free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.

Humphries Kirk has offices in Bournemouth, Parkstone, Poole, Swanage, Wareham, Dorchester and Crewkerne and has an international network of lawyers.
