Humphries Kirk continues support of Life Education Wessex

Leading Dorset and Somerset law firm, Humphries Kirk, has renewed its sponsorship of Life Education Wessex’s mobile classrooms.

Humphries Kirk has supported the charity for over a decade with various initiatives and the relationship began when Felicity Hedger, former senior partner became a trustee of the charity. In 2018 the firm celebrated five years of sponsoring two Life Education Wessex classrooms, which allow children and families to learn more about making healthy choices.

Katharine Jones, senior partner at Humphries Kirk, commented: “I had the opportunity last year to visit one of the sessions hosted by the charity at a school and it was lovely to see children really getting involved and excited about making decisions for a healthy future.”

Life Education Wessex provides health, wellbeing and drug prevention education to 50,000 children across the Wessex region each year. It is well known for its mobile classrooms and its mascot, Harold the giraffe.

Lorraine Hewitt, fundraising manager at Life Education Wessex, added: “We really value the ongoing support of Humphries Kirk with our early intervention work with local children. By sponsoring our Life Buses, it helps with a lot of the running costs to take the Life Buses into over 300 schools every year, so that children, parents and schools can benefit from our message of healthy living, to keep children healthy, happy and safe.”
