Humphries Kirk in Crewkerne are supporting the Samaritan’s Purse Christmas shoebox appeal

| Published on November 1, 2019

Humphries Kirk Crewkene is supporting this year’s Samaritan’s Purse shoebox appeal and will be accepting shoebox drop-offs between Monday 11 and Monday 18 November.

Operation Christmas Child is a project run by Samaritan’s Purse. The team at Humphries Kirk want to encourage the local community to fill shoeboxes with items such as toys, school supplies and hygiene items for Samaritan’s Purse to deliver to children in need around the world.

Samaritan’s Purse is a charity providing emergency relief and development assistance to adults and children suffering around the world. As part of its work, it has organised shoebox gifts for Christmas since 1990. To date, more than 168 million children in 160 countries have received gifts from the Operation Christmas Child project.

Laura Staples, partner at Humphries Kirk and based in the Crewkerne office, commented:

“The work Samaritan’s Purse does to support those children around the world is incredible. We are so proud to be a part of it this year and hope that as many people as possible will come to our Crewkerne office to drop-off their gift-filled boxes for this amazing cause.”

Shoe gift boxes should be dropped off at Humphries Kirk’s Crewkerne office based at 17 Market Street, Crewkerne, TA18 7JU.
