Leading Dorset and Somerset law firm Humphries Kirk is supporting this year’s Purbeck Film Festival, the longest running rural film festival in the UK.

Humphries Kirk is proud to be supporting the festival and is sponsoring the Stephen Woolley event at the Rex Cinema in Wareham on Sunday October 29.

Celebrating its 21st year, the Purbeck Film Festival started on Friday October 13 and runs until Sunday October 29. The festival is supported by over 5,000 people annually. In addition to screenings at the Rex Cinema, the festival hosts screenings at arts centres, village halls, pubs, hotels and castles across the Purbeck region, Poole and Bournemouth.

Stephen Woolley, one of Britain’s top film producers, is attending the closing screening of ‘Their Finest’ on Sunday October 29 at the Rex Cinema. He will be answering questions on British film, the working of the industry, the work of a film producer and will give an insight into his eventful career. He has produced ‘Mona Lisa,’ ‘Made In Dagenham, ‘Interview with a Vampire’ and many more films. One of Stephen’s latest films is the forthcoming ‘On Chesil Beach’ and is filmed in Dorset. Humphries Kirk is sponsoring this headline event.
