Humphries Kirk solicitors have the ‘will’ to raise cash

Dorset and Somerset solicitors firm Humphries Kirk are set to participate in Lewis-Manning Hospice’s Make a Will Fortnight (Monday June 13 to Friday June 24) by offering a free will writing service in return for a donation to the charity.

Adam Scott, partner at Humphries Kirk said: “We’re delighted to be able to take part in the Make a Will Fortnight, and we hope to be able to help raise donations for a wonderful local hospice.

He added: “Having a will in place ensures your family, friends and any charities you care about are provided for in the way you wish.

The campaign was set up to not only raise funds for the charity, but to raise awareness about the importance of leaving gifts in wills. Sally Goodenough, legacies fundraiser at Lewis-Manning Hospice, said: “Writing a Will brings security and peace of mind, not just to you but also to your loved ones. If you need to write your Will or update your current one, taking part in Make a Will Fortnight will mean you’re also helping Lewis-Manning at the same time.”
