Why it is important to have a Will

Nick Grassby, solicitor at Humphries Kirk, explains why it is important to have a Will in place:

A Will is a legal document stating who benefits from your estate after you die. This includes your money, property, and any assets you own at your death.

Your Will can avoid family disputes, reduce costs of administering your estate, save inheritance tax, preserve assets and protect vulnerable beneficiaries.

If you require help in making or updating your Will, please contact your local Humphries Kirk branch and seek advice from the Private Client department.
